Noel Whelan predicts that Samu Saiz will start for Leeds United.

Noel Whelan has told BBC Radio Leeds that he believes Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom will start Samu Saiz in this afternoon’s visit of Brentford.
The Spanish maestro reminded Leeds fans of his quality in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw at Derby County with a brilliant 35-minute cameo.
The 27-year-old had missed the previous six games through suspension after spitting at a Newport County player in an FA Cup defeat back in January.

But his class was plain to see at the iPro Stadium this week, and Leeds legend Whelan believes that Heckingbottom will start Saiz this time around.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: “He’ll play. I’ll be really surprised if he doesn’t play.”

If it wasn’t obvious before, Saiz is comfortably Leeds’ most influential player and it’s vitally important that he starts against the Bees.
The Whites are 11th in the Championship and eight points adrift of the top six. Their promotion hopes aren’t dead in the water, but no wins in nine league outings is a dreadful run of form that United have to arrest as soon as possible, and the chances of stopping that rot today are far greater if Saiz is included from the start.
