Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds striker has given his take on the final result.

Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds at full time on Sunday afternoon (3:26pm): “The character shown to come out in the second half, to dominate it, to finish the chances and finish as strongly as this team has, the belief that’s in that changing room, which is in those players, the character shown is immense. That is a championship-winning kind of performance.”

Meanwhile, Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Whites.
