‘Nobody could script it’: Some Everton fans stunned by what they’re hearing about 48-year-old

Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after it was claimed by Fabrizio Romano that Roberto Martinez could be the new Barcelona manager.

Ronald Koeman is having a torrid time at Camp Nou at the moment, and that has inevitably led to the board looking for another option.

Martinez is one man they’re reportedly considering, and Everton supporters simply can’t believe it.

It’s one of the strangest trends in football, but somehow, former Everton managers keep finding themselves in top jobs.

Koeman has managed the Netherlands and Barca, Carlo Ancelotti is Real Madrid boss, David Moyes was at Manchester United and now Martinez could be going to Barcelona as well.

Marco Silva may be at Fulham right now, but it wouldn’t shock us at this point if Bayern Munich went in for him at some point.
