If Leeds United genuinely are keen on Adama Traore then they’d have been interested in seeing his latest performance.

Wolves lost 2-0 away to Tottenham this afternoon.

But Traore’s performance was one of very few positives for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side on the day, particularly in the first half.

The Spain international ghosted through Spurs’ midfield on more than a few occasions, with his speed causing major problems for the hosts.

Leeds were reportedly keen in January and then Eurosport reported in February that the Elland Road club would be making a summer move, with Traore valued at around £35 million [Sport].

One pundit impressed by Traore’s performance today was Don Hutchison, who claimed that the burly former Aston Villa star was simply ‘unplayable’ at times.

He told Peacock Sports during commentary: “Traore’s unplayable. Second time he’s done this. He’s gone straight through the heart of Spurs’ midfield and they can’t catch him. It’s all about the work from Adama Traore. Nobody can stop him.”

Traore is clearly an enormous talent, but we’re still talking about his potential.

There’s no denying that he can be one of the Premier League’s most feared attacking players but, despite having the speed and skill to work some brilliant positions for himself, his final ball often lets him down.

Even today, after breezing past a number of Spurs players like they weren’t even there, he made the wrong decision at the all-important point and that will certainly worry Marcelo Bielsa, if Leeds are interested.
