Mark Noble has told Stadium Astro how West Ham United boss David Moyes was very complimentary of his side’s performance against Chelsea.
West Ham were beaten 3-0 at Stamford Bridge last night, but the scoreline didn’t accurately reflect the tale of the match.
West Ham actually built up a lot of pressure during the game, and in the second-half they had more than their fair share of possession.
On another day, West Ham may have collected a positive result against their London rivals.
And Noble has revealed that Moyes was positive after the game, despite the defeat
“The manager has come in and said it’s one of the best games we’ve played as a team with the ball, as in this season,” Noble said.
“It’s not the result we wanted but on another night we scored a perfectly good goal, where Jarrod doesn’t touch him. It hasn’t gone for us tonight but as I said we can take a lot from the performance.”

West Ham’s main problem against Chelsea was that they were unable to turn their pressure into real chances.
Sebastian Haller was fairly ineffective up-front, while the likes of Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals could not find a way past the Chelsea defence.
The Hammers’ latest defeat has left them in 10th place in the Premier League table, with their next game coming against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
