Former Liverpool playmaker Harry Wilson has had an interesting start to the season, and the midfielder continued this odd form with a penalty miss for Wales.
The 24-year-old winger missed a spot-kick in Wales’ FIFA World Cup qualifer against Finland. The woeful penalty from Wilson meant that the game ended 0-0 between the two sides.
Wilson completed a £12m move to Fulham this summer as reported by Sky Sports News. And the Welsh international has had a productive yet eventful start to life in west London.
The winger scored on his debut for Fulham before being sent off in the next game against Huddersfield. However, Wilson has recently redeemed himself with a goal and an assist in the Cottagers most recent fixture against Stoke City.
Indeed, Wilson headed into yesterday’s game against Ukraine in good form, but his penalty was woeful, to say the least.
The Finland keeper denied the Fulham winger from the spot with an easy save. And on social media, Liverpool fans were disappointed with Wilson and his penalty for Wales.
