What Chris Iwelumo thinks about former side Wolves’ promotion hopes following defeat to Fulham and no win in three Championship games.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have now not won in three Championship matches after losing 2-0 to in-form Fulham at the weekend.
Prior to that the league leaders drew at Preston North End and at home to Norwich City, seeing the gap between themselves and second-placed Cardiff City reduced to six points.

There is still ten points from Wolves to Aston Villa in third and so they remain comfortable in the automatic promotion spots, but some fans are starting to become a little concerned with their recent form.
Chris Iwelumo thinks his former team have nothing to worry about, though, and believes that Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will be back to winning ways before too long.
“Wolves are going through a tricky patch at the minute but all Championship teams do,” Iwelumo said while speaking as a pundit on Channel 5’s Championship programme on 24/02/2018.
“They’re scoring goals, they’re picking up points and they’ll be back at it.”

Next up for the West Midlands outfit is a visit from Reading to Molineux on Saturday (March 3), the first of 12 games before the end of the season.
If Iwelumo is to be believed then they will be one of the two sides returning to the Premier League come May and more than likely be crowned champions.
