Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after discovering what’s being sold in the club shop right now.
One simple visit to the club’s online store presents supporters with the sight of a Carabao Cup finalists 2020/21 keyring, which hasn’t gone down well.
Now, there are many reasons why this is a bizarre bit of merchandise.
For one, what if you were to buy this now, only to lose the final to Manchester City?
You would be stuck carrying your keys around on a bad memory, something that will always remind you of when Spurs missed out on another trophy.
Additionally, even if Tottenham were to win, this keyring is a very strange thing to sell.
Why? Well, if the north Londoners win the Carabao Cup, then surely supporters would rather have a keyring which says winners instead of finalists.
It really is a very strange thing to sell right now, and the Tottenham fans on Twitter simply can’t believe the club have listed it on the website.
In our view, we can’t imagine that Spurs have sold too many of these.
If they have, we’d like to know why anyone would actually want one!
