Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Filippo Grassia revealed that Newcastle have made a nine-figure bid for Dusan Vlahovic.

Well, it seems Newcastle have started to throw their millions around, and Tottenham fans are struggling to process it.
Grassia believes Newcastle have made an offer which is worth at least £100m, as they look to stay in the Premier League.
You may be wondering why this concerns Tottenham fans.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs also want to sign the Fiorentina striker, who is one of the best players in Europe at the moment.
Vlahovic has remarkably scored 15 goals in 17 Serie A appearances this season, which is a phenomenal record.
The 21-year-old was also named Serie A Young Player of the Year last season, after scoring 21 goals in Italy’s top-flight.
Will Tottenham match Newcastle bid?
With Daniel Levy at the helm, it feels unlikely that Spurs will match Newcastle’s nine-figure bid.
In truth, we’re not even sure if Tottenham could afford to do so right now, even if Levy was willing to part with the cash.
As a result of Mike Ashley’s frugality, the Magpies have a lot more freedom in terms of Financial Fair Play.
If Vlahovic does join Newcastle, it will be interesting to see how Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici respond.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, Conte really wants Vlahovic at Tottenham, and has discussed an approach for the Serbian with Paratici.
Therefore, Levy runs the risk of upsetting Conte if he doesn’t match Newcastle’s huge bid.
Having said that, the Italian surely can’t be too annoyed, as there are few clubs who can match that offer, especially during a global pandemic.
