The Telegraph suggest that Alli won’t be in Tottenham’s squad to face Chelsea, as he continues to be overlooked.

Spurs are set to name a rotated line-up in the League Cup, but Mourinho still seems unprepared to give Alli a chance.

And many Tottenham fans now think that the England international midfielder is doomed.

If Alli is to leave Spurs this summer he is now running out of time to do so.

The transfer deadline is now fast approaching, and the 24-year-old is unlikely to come cheap.

Alli retains a high value, despite his recent slip down the pecking order, and there is still hope from many Spurs supporters that he could turn things around.

However, with other options now much preferred in the squad, it remains to be seen if Alli can fight back and earn a place back in Mourinho’s side.
