Leeds United fans have admitted that they are gutted for Ryan Edmondson, after he picked up an injury.

Leeds only loaned out Edmondson to Aberdeen at the start of the season, but he has quickly returned to Thorp Arch for treatment.

The young forward could now be out for four months, in what is a real blow to his development.

And Leeds fans admit that they are upset for the striker, who was ‘gutted’ last night.

Edmondson had made a promising start to life at Aberdeen in his first few weeks at the club.

The teenager looked like he was about to get his first real taste of regular first-team football, but his current injury has really curtailed his progress.

Leeds will now look to nurse Edmondson back to full health and hope he is capable of playing in the second-half of the season.

There are high hopes for the powerful striker at Elland Road, as he has proven to be a major threat at youth level over a number of years.
