Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to share a theory they have about Castore’s launch video, following today’s announcement.
What’s the story?
Well, earlier today, Newcastle tweeted a video announcing their partnership with Castore ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Castore – who make kits for Rangers – will be creating bespoke shirts for Newcastle for the foreseeable future.
It puts an end to Puma’s ties with the Magpies.
It’s definitely something to be excited about, as Castore did a great job with Rangers this season.
However, instead of talking about the new partnership, Newcastle fans on Twitter have a theory.
What’s their theory?

Well, in the announcement video, Castore use phrases such as ‘a new start’ and ‘a new better’.
Now, some Newcastle fans seem to think these lines were intended to be delivered under new ownership.
It makes sense – you can see why the supporters think this.

Significantly, the Castore partnership was also announced a while ago, but the video took longer to come out.
This adds plenty of credibility to the fanbase’s theory.
Let’s see what the Newcastle fans on Twitter have been saying…
