Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing something interesting in the background of John Henry’s apology video.
The 71-year-old sat before the cameras to apologise for his involvement in the elitist, and embarrassing, European Super League plan.
It’s fair to say a number of Liverpool fans were in no mood for forgiveness, as the apologetic video was met with a lot of angry comments – understandably so.
Away from the anger, a few eagle-eyed Liverpool fans noticed some yellow roses positioned behind Henry.
Interestingly, the yellow rose has a unique meaning. It represents friendship and forgiveness, as seen on Exotic Flowers.
A quick scan through Google shows many other sites reinforcing this.
Now, this is extremely intriguing.

Could it be possible that Henry chose these roses specifically, and purposely positioned them behind him in his apology video?
Perhaps, although we can only speculate on the matter.
It’s not beyond the realms of reality, however.

Henry has landed himself in very, very hot water at Anfield, and it feels like there is no going back for the American on Merseyside.
He has truly burned his bridges, it seems.
Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the yellow roses…
