Liverpool fans have reacted to James Milner’s hilarious Twitter message about Joel Matip on Wednesday evening.
Pre-season is well underway for the Liverpool players and Milner, who is known for his sense of humour, posted this message about his teammate.
Regardless of the mood in the camp, you can always back someone like Milner putting a smile on your face.
And it seems as though the Liverpool man has done just that, especially with his out-of-the-box hashtags.
During his time on Merseyside, Matip has been injury-prone and that was proven once again last season.
So, it’s no surprise that the Liverpool fans warned Milner in trying not to injure the centre-back ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Reds may have been in a situation where three of their star defenders – Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Matip suffered season-ending injuries.
But they are making sure that they aren’t in that situation again, with the arrival of Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig this summer.
