Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was revealed that Kieran Tierney is expected to resume training again within two to three weeks.

Understandably, the Arsenal fans are ecstatic at this news.

Mikel Arteta recently claimed that the Scotland international was ‘probably’ going to miss the rest of the season due to injury.

Tierney was forced off the field during the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on April 3rd, after sustaining ligament damage to his left knee.

However, he looks set to defy his manager’s prediction and make a comeback, which could be massive for the Gunners.

If Arteta can navigate his side past Unai Emery’s Villarreal in the Europa League semi-final, then Tierney should be fit for the final.

The £25 million man is undoubtedly one of Arsenal’s best players.

His constant threat on the overlap, crossing ability and eye for goal make him vital to the way Arteta wants to play.

Hopefully, he makes a return as soon as possible.

However, it is imperative that Arsenal do not rush him back.

Tierney has been quite injury prone since arriving in England, and it’s important that Arsenal manage his fitness properly.

In the meantime, let’s see what the Gunners fans on Twitter have been saying about the update on his knee injury…
