Aston Villa fans are dreading Jack Grealish starting for the third time in a week on Wednesday.

The Daily Mirror claim that Grealish will start for England against Iceland on Wednesday evening, as the Villa playmaker begins to establish a place for himself in Gareth Southgate’s starting line-up.

Villa fans have been calling for Grealish to be given more of a chance at international level.

But they now have serious concerns developing that he has been overused in the recent international break.

Grealish faces the prospect of playing his third full game in under a week tomorrow.

And it’s fair to say that Villa supporters aren’t best pleased with the news.

It would, of course, be a huge blow for Villa if Grealish was to pick up an injury just before the club campaign gets back underway at the weekend.

However, Grealish is currently riding the crest of a wave, and the 25-year-old is likely to be extremely eager to get back out on the pitch again, as he enjoys arguably the best spell of form over his career to date.
