Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to the news that both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Allan are available to play in the Merseyside Derby this weekend.
The influential pair have been missing with injury as of late, but Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that they’re available for Saturday’s clash at Anfield.
As you can probably imagine, Liverpool fans weren’t best pleased to hear that the Toffees will have two of their most important players back for this game.
The Merseyside Derby has been a rather one-sided affair in recent years, especially at Anfield, but with the Toffees having a real chance to finish ahead of Liverpool this season, this fixture may be tighter and more important than ever.
Winning a game against Everton is always important for Liverpool as they’re desperate to retain bragging rights on Merseyside, but beating Ancelotti’s side will be a lot more difficult with Calvert-Lewin and Allan on the pitch.
While this is a massive boost for the Blue half of Merseyside, Liverpool fans understandably aren’t too excited at the prospect of facing off against a full-strength Everton side.
