Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after some interesting footage of Thomas Partey emerged from training at London Colney.

The five second video shows the £45 million man involved in a rondo with his teammates, such as Martin Ødegaard and Nicolas Pépé.

Some of Mikel Arteta’s coaching staff also appear to have joined in, although one of them probably wishes he hadn’t.

As the ball is passed to a coach, Partey can be seen flying in with a slide tackle, which knocks the poor staff member off his feet.

In the background, Pépé can be seen appearing to laugh, as other simply watch on unmoved.

It’s quite a strange video, as there seems to be plenty of intent from the 28-cap Ghana international, and a lot of force in the challenge.

The unlucky staff member easily could’ve suffered a serious injury.

Let’s just hope Partey had his firm ground studs in, rather than metal ones for soft ground – either way, it must’ve really hurt.

Now, this footage begs the question of whether or not the 27-year-old tackles like this all the time in training.

If he does, then it’s a bit of a concern.

One fan below asked why Partey is actually doing stuff like this, and we can’t help but think the same.

It’s very conceivable that one of Arsenal’s first-teamers gets seriously injured if the £250,000-a-week man keeps tackling like this.

Hopefully, it was just a one off.

Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the five second footage…
