Everton fans have been left extremely excited after Fabrizio Romano’s triple update on their transfer plans.
Everton are not only closing in on bringing in James Rodriguez, but it seems that they are on the verge of sealing deals for Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure too.
Allan has now undergone a medical with the Toffees, while Everton have agreed personal terms with Doucoure.
And the Goodison Park faithful are extremely excited with what they are hearing from Romano now.
If Everton could complete a triple swoop for Allan, Rodriguez and Doucoure then they would be much better placed to challenge for Europe next term.
Everton’s biggest issue last season was their inability to dominate games in the midfield, due to the poor form of the players in their current squad.
Everton failed to find a reliable partnership in the middle of the park, and Carlo Ancelotti seems to have made it his main objective to strengthen the Toffees in that area going into the new campaign.
