When Calciomercato reported last week that Fabio Paratici is already planning a summer raid of his old employers, looking to bring both Leonardo Bonucci and Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham Hotspur, the reaction from Juventus supporters can best be described as ‘mixed’.
If Bonucci is short of a bob or two – which is unlikely given he reportedly earns over £200,000-a-week – the veteran defender would not be lacking in offers from fans willing to pay for an Uber to the nearest airport.
At 34, the Italy international is no longer the irrepressible force of old and many in Turin have still not forgiven him for that ill-advised, 2017 move to AC Milan.
When it comes to Dejan Kulusevski, however, the reaction could hardly have been more different.
Will Paratici bring Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham?
The £26 million dynamo might have endured a rather up-and-down season at the disposed Serie A champions, overshadowed as he was by fellow newcomer Federico Chiesa, but absolutely nobody is giving up on Kulusevski just yet.

A left-footed right winger who has been compared to Arjen Robben and models his game on Kevin de Bruyne, the Sweden international was crowned the division’s Young Player of the Year as recently as 2020.
At just 21, Kulusevski’s potential is simply frightening, while a tally of seven goals and seven assists is hardly disastrous for a youngster in his first season at a European megaclub like Juventus.
If Tottenham want Bonucci, they can have him. Kulusevski, however, is going absolutely nowhere.
