Rio Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane did not dive against Frank Lampard’s Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this past weekend.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham got the better of Frank Lampard’s Everton 2-0 in North London this past Saturday evening.
England international striker Kane scored the first goal of the match from the penalty spot in the 59th minute.
It was the Tottenham forward himself who earned the penalty.
Everton and England international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was adjudged to have tripped the Spurs star.
There was contact from Pickford, but from some angles, it did appear that Kane went down too easily.

When told by Manchester United fan Stephen Howson that Kane dived against Tottenham, Ferdinand responded: “No way. He might have simulated a little bit, but Pickford touches him, he goes down. It’s a penalty.”
Big game this week
Harry Kane will be back in action this week when Tottenham Hotspur take on Rio Ferdinand’s former club Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
The Red Devils are doing well at the moment, and playing at home will also give Erik ten Hag’s side an advantage.
However, Tottenham are winning matches, and Kane is in good form.
The 29-year-old striker has scored nine goals and provided one assist in 10 Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season.
