Former Wolves hero and Molineux fan favourite Dave Edwards has taken to Twitter to react after hearing an update on Adama Traore and Tottenham.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on a reunion with the Wolves No.37 in north London.
However, Sky Sports reporter Anton Toloui has revealed that Wolves will not accept anything under £50m for the man they paid £18m for.
After hearing that update, Edwards wasn’t too sure if even a sum of £50m would be enough to ease the pain of losing such an entertaining player.
You can see what the 35-year-old tweeted in full below.
£50m is a lot of money, but players like Traore do not come around very often – they are extremely unique, and must be treasured.
Wolves would be alright if they sold Adama Traore to Tottenham

While there isn’t anyone in Europe who can dribble like Traore, Wolves would still survive if Nuno got his hands on the Spaniard.
Bruno Lage has a wonderful attack at his disposal, even without including Traore.
Wolves have Raul Jimenez, Francisco Trincao, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence, Fabio Silva and new signing Hee-Chan Hwang to choose from.
Clearly, Lage has plenty of options in attack.

In that respect, perhaps the £50m from Traore’s potential sale could be used to strengthen weaker areas of the team.
Of course, as Edwards claims, there’s basically no chance of replacing Traore’s entertainment value.
However, his end product isn’t great, and less entertaining players would easily be able to match his poor goalscoring output.
