Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate after Gabriel Martinelli posted a two-word tweet.

The tweet shows the Brazilian forward playing with the ball in training, as he nears his return to the Gunners first-team.

Martinelli had been struggling with a knee injury which required surgery, but has been back in training since the end of October according to the Evening Standard.

The attacker’s last game for Arsenal was a 0-0 draw against Burnley on March 2nd. Up until that point, the 19-year-old was having an excellent season.

Martinelli netted ten goals in 26 appearances in what was his debut campaign at the Emirates. His efforts were especially impressive seeing as he had come from Ituano FC, who currently play in Brazil’s third tier.

What an incredible piece of scouting that was by the north Londoners.

The goal-shy Gunners should be desperate for the wonderkid to return.

So far this season, Mikel Arteta’s side have scored just ten goals in ten Premier League games.

Only the struggling trio of Sheffield United, West Brom and Burnley have scored fewer.

Quite simply, Arteta needs all the help he can get in attack.
