Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to express their shock at Bukayo Saka’s position in L’Equipe‘s list of the best under-20 talents in football.

The French news outlet placed the 19-year-old at ninth in a list of the 50 best under-20 prospects playing across the globe.

While that’s still quite high, some Arsenal fans believe he should be higher up on the list.

Barcelona’s Ansu Fati tops the rankings, while Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood sits eighth – one place ahead of Saka.

In our view, we have to agree – the Arsenal No.7 deserves to be higher.

Saka has carried the Gunners at times this season, whereas Greenwood has been a shadow of the player who shone for the Red Devils last term.

Additionally, Anderlecht’s Yari Verschaeren is seventh.

While the Belgian is a fine talent, we don’t feel his efforts in the Belgian Pro League can be compared to what Saka is doing in a tougher division.

Hopefully, the England international can use this small injustice as motivation to better himself.

Not that he’ll need it. When Arsenal have struggled this season, Saka has shown an incredible mentality to drag them through the mire.

Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about L’Equipe‘s verdict…
