Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that there are no talks going on between Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal over Kieran Tierney.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that there are no talks for now between Arsenal and Manchester City over the Scotland international left-back.
There has been speculation this week regarding Tierney and City.
The Telegraph and 90min have reported this week that defending Premier League champions City are interested in signing the former Celtic left-back in the summer transfer window.

No talks between Arsenal and Manchester City over Kieran Tierney
Excellent news for the Gunners
In our view, Fabrizio Romano’s claim regarding Kieran Tierney and Manchester City is excellent news for Arsenal.
Tierney is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and is one of the first names on manager Mikel Arteta’s teamsheet when he is fit and available.
It would be a big blow for the Gunners if they were to lose the Scotsman this summer, but Romano’s tweet should allay any worries that the Arsenal fans may have.
Arsenal are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season, and Tierney would play a big role in that quest.
