Leeds United will face Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
Leeds United striker Chris Wood has suggested to The Yorkshire Evening Post that he is not fussed about starting against Liverpool.
The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Premier League side Liverpool away from home in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
Given Wood’s good form at the moment, many will expect the New Zealand international striker to start at Anfield.

The 24-year-old found the net in all three rounds of the EFL Cup despite coming off the bench in each tie.
However, the former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City striker is not fussed about starting against Liverpool.
“The boys who’ve been playing and who’ve done well in the cup need to keep progressing like that,” Wood told The Yorkshire Evening Post regarding starting against Liverpool. “It’s fair enough.”

It is quite generous of Wood not to be claiming a place in the Leeds starting lineup against Liverpool.
Playing at Anfield is massive for any footballer, and given the form that the striker is in, many will expect him to score against the Reds if he starts.
Perhaps head coach Garry Monk should stick to what has helped his side progress thus far in the competition and start Wood on the substitutes’ bench.
