Johan Djourou wrote on his Instagram story that Arsenal will finish above Tottenham this season by securing a Champions League finish.

The former Premier League defender backed Liverpool for the title, with Manchester City second and ambitiously claimed that Arsenal will finish third followed up by their North London rivals.

At this moment in time, Mikel Arteta’s side are sitting 11th in the table on 23 points, six points behind Tottenham and having played a game extra.

Nonetheless, this is what Djourou had to say on Instagram on Saturday.

On what he thinks of Tottenham: “There is no space to think about Tottenham in the Gunners DNA.”

On who will finish in the top four: “That a tough one. Let me think… Liverpool, City, Arsenal and Tottenham.”

Arsenal have had a number of issues this season and four wins on the bounce in all competitions is slowly healing their wounds.

But there is still a long way to go and they have to continue to show a serious amount of consistency if they are to finish in Europe this term.

Whilst those at the Emirates try their utmost best to continue that charge, Spurs are challenging for the title and hoping Jose Mourinho can pull a surprise out of the bag.
