Arsenal face Leeds United on Saturday evening and it’s fair to say that the Gunners have a great chance of getting a result against the Whites.

Indeed, while Premier League games across the country are being postponed due to covid outbreaks, these two sides have, luckily, managed to evade the virus.

However, that doesn’t mean that Leeds don’t have massive problems within their squad.

Unfortunately, the Yorkshire club are going through what is a rather severe injury crisis right now, and they’re down to the bare bones.

Arsenal will be looking to take advantage of this, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Gunners’ starting XI for this one.

The old saying goes, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ and after Arsenal’s 2-0 win against West Ham in midweek, we expect Mikel Arteta to go with an unchanged side here.

Yes, he will have to rotate during this festive period at some point, but it’s hard to see where anyone drops out of this team.

Emile Smith Rowe could come in, but it would be incredibly harsh to drop Gabriel Martinelli after his recent fantastic run, and while Nuno Tavares could slot in for Kieran Tierney, the Scot’s leadership abilities may be needed more than ever after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s recent indiscretion.
