Tottenham Hotspur have all the motivation they need to be successful this season.
Tottenham Hotspur may not have made any signings this summer, but their already strong team is set to be fuelled with extra motivation.
Spurs finished second in the Premier League last season and are looking to go one better, put together a sustained run in the Champions League, and even lift a domestic trophy.
Kyle Walker’s comments
After making a big money move to Manchester City, defender Kyle Walker explained that his reason for doing so was to win silverware, having failed to do so at Spurs.

He told BBC Sport that he needed to move on, and it is hard to imagine his now ex-Spurs teammates will not have seen his comments.
Spurs have extra reason to prove themselves as winners and not just nearly men.
It will not be about beating Walker and proving the right-back wrong, as it will be proving to themselves they have got what it takes.
Pundits will write them off
It has already started, pundits are predicting Spurs will go backwards and even drop out of the top four this season.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas has kicked it off, telling The Independent he feels they could go backwards.

It isn’t even a hot take, given their lack of signings and adjustment they face playing at Wembley, and Jenas will not be the only one.
Tottenham are used to being written off, but it may sting particularly this time around after their recent progress.
The club’s players must use this along with Walker’s comments to really motivate themselves and provide an extra edge this upcoming campaign.
It is the type of added motivation which money can’t buy.
