The agent of reported Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham target Dominik Szoboszlai has admitted that the Red Bull Salzburg star could be on the move in the near future, while speaking to Digi Sport.
With that £23 million release clause attracting attention far and wide (Gazzetta dello Sport), it seems only a matter of time before the Hungarian sensation is taking the well-trodden path from Salzburg to a major European giant.
The Austrian Bundesliga champions have sold Erling Haaland, Takumi Minamino and Hwan Hee Chan this year alone and Szoboszlai appears to be on the verge of following in their footsteps.
90Min reports that many of the Premier League’s biggest and brightest, including Liverpool, Wolves, Everton, Leicester City and Spurs, have scouted Szoboszlai.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have been watching the 20-year-old set-piece master since 2019.
Szoboszlai admitted to Goal long ago that reported interest from the Gunners was a ‘huge honour’.
“Obviously, it’s no secret that Dominik is now closer to leaving the Austrian league,” agent Matyas Esterhazy explained.

“We’re seeing that every time he has a good game, which fortunately is happening quite often, the rumours are getting stronger.
“Whether it’s in January or next summer, the most important thing is that he goes to a club where he will have a good chance of playing regularly and continuing the learning curve he started in Salzburg – that’s the most important thing for us.”
One of the most prolific attacking midfielders in Europe, Szoboszlai has produced five goals and nine assists this season alone.
It was his trademark, long-range rocket that secured Hungary’s place in the European Championships too, with Szoboszlai scoring a stoppage-time winner in the decisive qualifier over Iceland last week.
