Tottenham Hotspur were tipped to have a very busy January transfer window, and while they left it late, Spurs got quite a lot of business done this month.
They shifted the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli, while Rodrigo Bentancour and Dejan Kulusevski have both come in.
Now the question is, what is Spurs’ strongest starting XI after this window?
Tottenham have a couple of new signings, but their squad is still rather bloated in certain areas, so with that in mind, we’ve had a go at picking what we believe is Spurs’ strongest side after this January window.
There are still some problem positions in this side, but, in our view, this is Spurs’ strongest post-January XI.
Cristian Romero comes back into the side after a lengthy injury layoff, while the rest of the defence is about what you’d expect it to be.
The midfield is an interesting area for Antonio Conte. The Italian has waxed-lyrical about Harry Winks in the past, but after the arrival of Rodrigo Bentancur, there’s no space for Winks in this team.
Dejan Kulusevski will want to break into this attack, but Lucas Moura’s form under Conte has been brilliant, so it’s hard to see the Swedish youngster breaking into this side straight away.
