Arsenal fans on Twitter are keen for Reiss Nelson to start his first Premier League game of the season when they take on Wolves tonight.

It has been a tough old road for Nelson during these past few months, but in midweek, he showed a glimpse of what he can produce when he scored during their 3-0 win against Molde in the Europa League.

Added with that performance, and Nicolas Pepe’s suspension, the Arsenal fans are keen for Mikel Arteta to pick the 20-year-old from the off.

Arsenal have been crying out for some magic in the final third, someone to do something different and take opposition defenders on without any fear.

Well, Nelson, if provided with a healthy run of games, can do that pretty naturally and those in North London are hoping to see it tonight.

Another Arsenal academy product, Bukayo Saka, has shown what can be done when that confidence is placed upon him and it seems Nelson needs that same energy.

Arteta has regularly played Willian out wide since his summer move, and even though he has a wealth of experience under his belt, he simply hasn’t performed since the opening game of the season.

Therefore, the Arsenal faithful want Nelson unleashed against a well-balanced Wolves team, who are strong across the board.
