Leeds United will face Newcastle United in the Championship this weekend.

Noel Whelan has suggested to The Yorkshire Evening Post that Leeds United can win against Newcastle United this weekend.
Leeds will take on Newcastle at Elland Road in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.
The Whites are going strong in the league at the moment and are in the running for a playoff spot.
The West Yorkshire outfit are currently sixth in the standings with 26 points from 16 matches.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are at the top of the Championship table with 37 points from 16 games.
The Magpies, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are three points clear of second-placed Brighton & Hove Albion.
Rafael Benitez’s side are in brilliant form at the moment, but former Leeds striker Whelan believes that the Whites can pick up all three points from the encounter.

“I think Leeds, on their day, can beat any team in the Championship and they proved that against Norwich,” Whelan told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“They are no mugs – they played their full team and away from home we put on a really good display to get the win and three points that we took back with us.
“Leeds are sitting where there are in a position in the league because they deserve it. At the moment we are sixth, we want to stay there and we want to climb higher.”
Newcastle have a better squad and a better team than Leeds have, but the Magpies will not find it easy at Elland Road.
Garry Monk’s side will be confident of picking up at least a point at home, and perhaps if they score first, then they could go on and win it.
