Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrice Muamba has been speaking about Anthony Gordon and his future at Everton.
The young winger has been a rare beacon of hope in what has been a shocking season for the Toffees, and to be honest, he’s looked far too good to be embroiled in this relegation battle.
According to Muamba, Gordon will leave Everton even if the Merseyside club manage to stay in the Premier League if he continues to play well.
What’s been said?
Muamba spoke about Gordon.
“This young man here, Anthony Gordon, at his age, at 21 years old, to be involved in the Merseyside Derby and to play the way he played, he deserves a lot of credit,” Muamba said.
“He was probably the bright light in there, trying to get in there. He should have been given a penalty.”
“Gordon, for me, he was Everton’s best player. No matter what happens, he won’t be there for very long if he continues to play like that.”

Too good
Muamba is absolutely right, Gordon won’t be at Everton for too long if he continues to play like this.
Regardless of whether or not the Toffees stay up, Everton are a club on the slide, and a player like this, at this age, deserves to play for a team with a promising long-term project that can promise him the chance to potentially play in Europe and potentially break into the England squad.
Gordon could well be the best of this bad bunch.
