The January transfer window has now closed, and Leeds United got through plenty of business this winter.
They signed Georginio Rutter in a club-record deal, they landed Weston McKennie on a loan deal from Juventus, while another Jesse Marsch favourite, Max Wober, also came into the fold.
Leeds’ may well look like a different team in the second half of this season, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at putting together what we believe is Leeds’ strongest XI after a busy January.

With the January transfer window now closed, Leeds will be looking to make their new signings count as they look to move away from the bottom half of the table.
Max Wober has been a solid addition to the back four and will likely slot in at left-back. Weston McKennie, on loan from Juventus, will bring a wealth of top-level experience and energy to the midfield, while Georginio Rutter starts up top after his big-money move.
Leeds’ defense has been one of their weaknesses this season, but the addition of Wober should bring some much needed stability to the back line. The signing of McKennie also brings a physical presence to the midfield and will provide support to the defenders.
In attack, Rutter has quickly the ability to quickly establish himself as a fan favourite with his pace and dribbling ability ability and his partnership with Patrick Bamford will be one to watch.
Luis Sinisterra and Brendan Aaronson bring pace and creativity to the wider attacking positions, making them a threat to any defence.
With this strengthened starting XI, Leeds will be looking to push on and improve their league position. Jesse Marsch will be hoping his new signings can help his side rediscover their form and pull away from the relegation battle.
