Milot Rashica is struggling for form, but that does not mean the alleged Aston Villa, Wolves and Liverpool target will be short of offers this summer, Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann has told DeichStube.
If the 2004 Bundesliga champions are to pull off an dramatic escape from the relegation zone, they will need their Kosovan talisman to rediscover the explosive form he displayed during the first half of the campaign.
But Rashica was ineffective once again as Florian Kohfeldt’s side were pushed ever closer to the drop in Monday’s 4-1 home defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
The forward with a £33 million release clause has failed to score in each of his last ten league matches now, with just one assist during that run too.
But Bauman is not expecting a vast array of suitors to cool their interest any time soon.
“Milot indicated his qualities against Leverkusen. I don’t think a game like this will have an impact on the summer,” says the former 28-capped Germany international.

Weser Kurier claims that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are hoping to beat Southampton to Rashica’s signature, although the Reds and the Saints will also face competition from Dean Smith’s Aston Villa (Mirror).
Wolves and West Ham cannot be discounted either, according to Der Spiegel.
But, with the Bundesliga the only European league back in action amid the ongoing global health crisis, the whole world will be fixing their beady eyes on Rashica over the next few weeks. Better is required, both for his sake and that of Werder Bremen.
