Jose Enrique has claimed that Liverpool boast the world’s best goalkeeper in the form of Alisson.

But it could and perhaps would’ve been a defeat for Jurgen Klopp’s side if not for the Brazil international.
Alisson, a £66 million signing in 2018 [BBC Sport], pulled off a number of phenomenal saves in the second half to keep out different Saints players.
And Enrique has claimed on Instagram that he’s simply the best in the world.
It really was a phenomenal display from Alisson and a reminder of how important he is.
Actually, it was also a reminder of how Liverpool aren’t quite back to normal because, despite beating Spurs last week to make it two Premier League wins on the spin now, they could’ve easily drawn on Saturday – or worse.
This Liverpool outfit still has major problems and Klopp will be concerned that Alisson was even forced into an array of top-class saves in the first place.
There’s a lot for Klopp to mull over throughout the World Cup break.
Because if his goalkeeper is Man of the Match in a home visit of Southampton then honestly, something is still terribly wrong.
