Former Gers star Kris Boyd has said on Sky Sports Football (2:09pm, April 3, 2022) that Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers are not going to win the Scottish Premiership title following the defeat to Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic at Ibrox.

Rangers have suffered a 2-1 defeat to Celtic at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby this afternoon.

The result means that Celtic are now as many as six points clear of defending champions Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

In our opinion, Celtic are now in a great position to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.

The Hoops are now as many as six points clear at the top of the league table.

Yes, there are still a few games left this season, but the advantage is now clearly for Celtic.

Rangers, though, are not going to give up now.

The Rangers players will know that it is going to be tough to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, but they will also be aware that Celtic could still slip up.

You can never rule out late drama in a title race, especially in Scotland.
