Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily Podcast, Jermaine Jenas has given his verdict on how Harry Kane will be feeling at Tottenham.
Spurs are going through a rough patch at the moment, and even though they have a League Cup final coming up, it doesn’t look as though their season is going to be a success.
Understandably, another underwhelming campaign has led to questions about the future of their star player, and Jenas believes that Kane will be well and truly fed up of what’s happening at Tottenham.
“Look there’s two points I want to make here. There’s no doubt in my mind that Harry is walking off that pitch and thinking ‘enough is enough now, that’s it. I’ve given my all to this football club and I’m not getting what I deserve back’,” Jenas said.
“I think when the dust settles, there will be an element of calm and he loves that football club, and I know he loves that football club. But with his age and the way he’s playing now. Let’s be honest, if he goes to Manchester City, in my opinion he smashes Alan Shearer’s record.”

We can’t say for sure how Kane will be feeling at this moment in time, but it would be almost impossible to blame him if he was angry with what’s happening.
He’s been one of the best players in the world for the best part of a decade now, and he’s not got a single trophy to show for it, despite putting everything he has into this club.
Kane will go down as a Tottenham legend, but perhaps it would be for the best for him if he did move on and earn a trophy haul befitting of a player as good as he is.
