The Leeds United owner continues to make headlines after last week’s Wolverhampton Wanderers rant.
Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has laid into his players in a fresh interview with Talksport on Tuesday morning.
Radrizzani made headlines last week after speaking out about Wolverhampton Wanderers’ transfer policy minutes after Leeds’ defeat to the Championship leaders.
The Italian later wrote to the FA, EFL and Premier League, seeking clarification over Wolves’ links to super agent Jorge Mendes.
But the Molineux outfit are not the only target of Radrizzani’s frustration, with Leeds’ players the latest the cop it.
“As a club we support them in everything,” he told the Jim White show. “We gave them long-term contracts, we supported them during our pre-season camp in Spain, we did everything they wanted but we didn’t get back their commitment, their passion and spirit, particularly in the last game I can mention [against Middlesbrough].
“The most important game we played poorly, and for me it was the bottom of the season because there was no commitment, no passion, no spirit. I don’t want players in my team representing Leeds United with this behaviour.
“So I hope they can learn as well, and they can be here with me next year, playing better and with more commitment.”
Since that 3-0 defeat at Boro, Leeds have lost to Wolves by the same scoreline and drawn 2-2 with lowly Reading, dropping to 13th in the table – 11 points off the play-off positions.
The Whites, in whom Radrizzani acquired a 100 per cent stake in May 2017, finished seventh last season and were expected to challenge for promotion this campaign.
