
Granit Xhaka would have struggled to sleep on Sunday after his sending-off for Arsenal played a major part in his side losing 1-0 to Burnley.
The combative midfielder better hope that he didn’t turn on his TV or look on social media during that time because a certain Patrice Evra had some seriously strong words to say about the Arsenal player.
Evra told Sky Sports that Thierry Henry once invited him to his house to watch an Arsenal game only for the Highbury legend to ‘turn off his TV’ because Xhaka was leading the team out.
Arsenal fans were left stunned by Evra’s comments, with some stating that it indicates that Xhaka isn’t good enough for this club, whilst others felt the Frenchman should have kept those comments in house.
Either way, those words were broadcast to the world as Arsenal suffered a fourth home defeat of the season to all but confirm that they are in a relegation dogfight.
It’s pretty clear that Xhaka, who moved to the Emirates Stadium for £30 million in 2016 [BBC Sport], will never win over the majority of Arsenal.

The Gunners faithful state that he is part of the problems at the club and it wouldn’t be a surprise if many are perhaps pleased that he is suspended following his sending-off.
