Arsenal will have to slash their asking price for Folarin Balogun if they want to sell him this summer.
That is according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.
Taylor has stated that Arsenal want up to £50m for Folarin Balogun, who was thought to have been attracting interest from Inter Milan, but no club is currently prepared to pay that kind of money for his signature.
It is believed that the Serie A giants were considering making a £35m bid for the striker but have now turned their attention to West Ham United’s Gianluca Scamacca.

As well as Inter, several other clubs have also been linked with Balogun, with the Daily Mail having reported last month that the likes of AC Milan and Marseille had expressed an interest in signing him, too.
Arsenal must lower their asking price for Folarin Balogun
It is not hard to see why Arsenal value Balogun so highly. The USA international really impressed last season, scoring 21 goals in 37 Ligue 1 appearances while on loan at Reims.
However, he is still just 22 years of age and that was his first prolific campaign in senior football. It would be a bit of a gamble for a club to sign him for £50m during this transfer window.

Considering that, the north London club are probably going to have to lower his price tag if he is to get a move, which looks to be in his best interest.
With Mikel Arteta having Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah at his disposal, Balogun may struggle to find regular game time at the Emirates this upcoming season.
Arsenal have also signed Kai Havertz, who can play up front as well, so Arteta has options for the striker position. An exit for Balogun now makes a lot of sense, but his employers are apparently going to have to bring down his price.
