Kevin Campbell has claimed that Arsenal forward, Bukayo Saka, won’t be sold for £100 million, as he told the Highbury Squad.

At 20-years-old, Saka is one of Arsenal’s most important players, if not the first name on the teamsheet.

That has resulted in the England international attracting interest from the outside, including from Liverpool, but the Gunners are keen to sign him up on a new deal.

This is a young squad Mikel Arteta is building in north London and he is still at the early stages of his rebuild.

Putting that in mind, Campbell can’t see Saka leaving, although he thinks it could be a problem in two years time if Arsenal have ‘exhausted everything’.

“£100 million, I don’t think Arsenal do the business,” said Campbell. “They don’t do the business because they are trying to build something.

“The message selling him sends out would not be good at all. Two years down the line, if they have exhausted everything and we haven’t hit the position, then maybe, they might say ‘you know what we have to sell one of them’.

“In this summer, no chance. Saka is going nowhere.”

This is Arsenal’s future and there is no way fans would accept it if someone like Saka is sold.

The player himself, who has now become an England international, doesn’t seem like he would want to force a move either.

This is where those at the top need to forget about their bank balance and solely think of pushing the north London outfit forward.

Saka, alongside the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard, are shining a light on this club not seen in many a year.
