‘No celebration again’: Some West Ham fans react to £15m man’s display amid transfer links

West Ham United fans on Twitter have urged their club to sign Joshua King after he hit a brace for Bournemouth in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon. 

The 28-year-old helped his Championship side put four past League Two opposition, Oldham, as his brace and first-half assist put Bournemouth’s name in the hat for the next round.

Understandably, this caught the eye of West Ham supporters, who are now even keener for their club to secure his signature.

The Daily Mail have reported that West Ham are looking at the possibility of signing King, with the £15 million versatile attacker also attracting interest from the likes of West Brom and Wolves.

West Ham recently parted ways with Sebastien Haller, who moved to Ajax, so another option, or even options, are needed upfront because David Moyes can’t rely on the injury-prone Michail Antonio.

After watching King do bits in the FA Cup yesterday, those in East London know who they want as Haller’s replacement.
