The Hammers forward has made just eight appearances this term under Slaven Bilic.
West Ham United striker Simone Zaza is set to be rescued from his East London nightmare, if the latest reports are to be believed.
The Evening Standard report that the Italian could be set for a return to Serie A with Fiorentina, as La Viola seek a replacement for Nicola Kalinic who is close to a £42m move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.
West Ham United’s Simone Zaza looks dejected
Zaza, 25, has made just eight appearances without scoring for Slaven Bilic’s side since his loan switch from Juventus in the summer, as reported by The Guardian.
With clauses stipulating the Hammers having to pay out the full amount should the striker reach ten appearances during his loan agreement, West Ham and the player had reached something of an impasse.
Reports indicate The Italian side want to secure a loan deal this month, with an option to buy Zaza permanently for a fee in the region of £15m in the summer.

Despite failing to score in the Premier League, Zaza netted five times for The Old Lady in his 12 month spell in Turin, reaching 20 goals for Sassuolo in a two year spell previously.
West Ham have been linked with moves for Brentford striker Scott Hogan in The Guardian, with Sky Sports reporting Bilic’s interest in Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi in the past week, so a return to Italy would suit both parties.
