N’Koudou shares Kieran Trippier discussion before Burnley move

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has joined Burnley on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has revealed to Burnley’s official website that he spoke to his Spurs teammate Kieran Trippier before making the move to the Clarets.

As announced on Burnley’s official website this afternoon, N’Koudou has joined Burnley from Tottenham on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old moved to Spurs from French club Marseille in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be £9 million.

The French youngster has struggled to play regularly for Tottenham and has switched to Premier League rivals Burnley in the January transfer window.

N’Koudou has revealed that he spoke to former Burnley defender and Spurs teammate Trippier about Sean Dyche’s side before making the move to the Clarets..

The 27-year-old England international right-back has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Burnley for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £3.5 million.

“When I spoke with Trippier he told me good things about this club, about the players and everything about Burnley,” N’Koudou told Burnley’s official website. “I am happy to be here, so thank-you Trippier.”
