Tottenham Hotspur’s plans to sign Georges-Kevin Nkoudou seem to have ground to a halt this week, with a fortnight passing since the winger took his medical at the club.
With the situation dragging on, while a deal is not ‘off’, headlines in France have indicated that the deal is running into problems, with Le Phoceen reporting chairman Daniel Levy has attempted to change the terms of the transfer.

Nkoudou meanwhile remains optimistic a deal will be done, and according to a report in French newspaper La Provence, he is in London already.
The report claims that the 21-year-old is staying in a London hotel and is ‘champing at the bit’ for the Tottenham deal to be signed off.

However the other player involved in the deal, Clinton Njie, who is due to leave Spurs for Marseille, is nowhere to be seen as far as the French side are concerned, believed to also still be in London.
There is a week before the Premier League season starts and Nkoudou’s optimism is a good sign for Spurs that a deal will be finalised soon, but for now, Tottenham fans continue to wait.
