Tottenham Hotspur might well fall short in their pursuit of the Premier League title, but they are not giving up yet.

If they are successful in overhauling Chelsea, last night’s 3-1 win over Swansea City will be seen as a turning point.

The scoreline looks comfortable, but it was anything but.

A goal from ex-Spurs winger Wayne Routledge gave the hosts a lead which they hung onto all game before a dramatic late collapse.

Dele Alli brought Tottenham level in the 88th minute, before stoppage time goals from Heung Min Son and Christian Eriksen sealed a big turnaround.

Summer signings Vincent Janssen and Georges Kevin N’Koudou were substitutes in the win, on the field for the incredible turnaround.

The pair might have managed just 14 touches combined, but simply being a part of the success will give both a boost and help them feel more at home in a side for who they have played just bit-part roles this season.

The pair both took to Twitter after the game to express their excitement.

Janssen particularly did enough to suggest he should get the nod to start against Watford this weekend.

Harry Kane is expected to return for the following week against Bournemouth, and Mauricio Pochettino should give the Dutchman another chance to lead the line, especially with him perhaps feeling more like part of the team than ever before.
