The Israelite has hailed his Celtic team-mate today.

Nir Bitton has told The Scottish Sun that it’s a pleasure to play alongside Celtic team-mate Scott Brown.
The Celtic skipper led by example on Saturday by scoring the only goal of the game as Brendan Rodgers’s side edged out Dundee.

It was a slightly more advanced role for Brown which he looked to revel in, starting and finishing the attack which led to the three points.
The 31-year-old midfielder is something of an icon at Celtic following a trophy-laden career at Paradise, and the Israel international says it’s simply a joy to be in the same side as his Scottish counterpart.
“His professionalism on and off the pitch makes him the most important player. It’s a joy to play alongside him,” the told The Scottish Sun.
“We are more attacking as a team now, so that has given him more opportunities without the ball and with the ball.”

Brown, at the moment, looks to be one of the many Celtic players greatly benefiting from Brendan Rodgers’s arrival.
The Hoops skipper was not at his best under Ronny Deila for two years, prompting suggestions that he was on the way down, but Rodgers has certainly brought something else out of him and, from a Celtic perspective, long may it last.
