Neil Lennon is apparently more chilled out as Celtic manager this time.

Manager of Hibs Neil Lennon looks on during the Betfred Cup Semi-Final at Hampden Park on October 21, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Nir Bitton has told Celtic’s official website that Neil Lennon is a lot more mellow during his second spell as manager.

The Northern Irishman returned to Parkhead in February to replace Brendan Rodgers on an interim basis, before earning a full-time role after helping Celtic to the Treble Treble.

Lennon brought Israel international Bitton to Glasgow during his first spell in charge in 2013.

And the towering midfielder has noticed that the previously-fiery coach is more calm this time around.

He told Celtic’s official website: “Perhaps he’s more relaxed this time around. The gaffer is the gaffer. What you see is what you get.

“He’s a big character. He’s someone that you would die for, and is someone that you’d always give 100 per cent for.”

Lennon is a calmer figure it seems, but how long will that last?

There is fierce pressure on him to deliver a ninth successive Premiership title and it might be the hardest one of the last decade.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, who sit behind Celtic on goal difference, look excellent so far this season and one thing is for sure, Lennon has a big job on his hands.
